MaryKaye Cashman is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Cashman Equipment Company, one of the oldest Caterpillar dealers in North America having been established since 1931. She has been involved with the company since 1970, becoming a director in 1982 and CEO in 1995. Prior to working at Cashman Equipment full time, in 1995, MaryKaye worked in the health care field as a registered nurse at University Medical Center (UMC) from 1982-1987 and Sunrise Hospital from 1988-1995. She earned her degree in nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 1982.

MaryKaye is an active member of the community serving on the boards of a variety of corporate, service and educational organizations. These include the Mackay School of Mines Advisory at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR); UNLV Foundation Board of Trustees and Executive Committee; Nevada Mining Association Board of Directors, Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas, Committee of 200 (International Organization of Top Women Business Leaders), World President’s Organization, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board and Government Affairs Committee.
